Sarah Jessica Parker (born March 25, 1965) is an American film, television, and theater actress and producer.Sarah Jessica Parker was born in Nelsonville, Ohio, the daughter of Barbara Parker a nursery school operator and teacher, and Stephen Parker, an entrepreneur and journalist.

Parker still makes most of her money off of "Sex and the City." She earns big from reruns of the TV show thanks to her dual role as star and producer, and the second movie, which hit screens in 2010, performed pretty well. It wasn’t as big a hit as the first movie (which earned $415 million) but it brought in a respectable $290 million.

Female soccer players always throw off my gaydar. Always. Take, for instance, Team USA above. I mean, sure they’ve got tank tops and arm porn and alternative-lifestyle haircuts. But what’s really throwing me off is their mad swagger. Not artificial swagger, like unnecessary limps or ridiculous grandstanding. No, the swagger that comes from years and years of getting kicked in the shins. From running up and down a 100-yard field more times than you can count. From sweat and concentration and grit and grass stains embedded in your skin. Soccer is fucking hard work. So when you’re good, you’ve got natural swagger. And that, that’s hot. It’s also hot that when the women score they tend to jump, legs first, into their teammates’ arms. Any sport that celebrates by hugging each other with your legs in friendship is a sport I want to watch. So to honor of the Women’s World Cup and all those amazing ladies with mad swagger, how about a little lady leg action?

Independence Day

I can’t think of a better way to honor Independence Day than with a little Ani DiFranco and girls kissing. In fact, I feel like it’s our constitutional duty to celebrate the Fourth of July in this fashion. What did our Founding Fathers fight for anyway if not right for us to have a three-day weekend and use those three days to make videos of hot women kissing. At least, I think that’s what I remember learning in my high school history class. Maybe my textbook was different from yours. Anyway, I clearly used my time wisely this weekend and spent it making this. Please be gentle, it is my first (and possibly last) music video compilation. (Also watch it in HD, it’s prettier that way.) No one else had Ani’s “Independence Day” set to anything. So, you know, I kind of had to. Happy birthday, America. And, you know, happy Monday everyone else.

My Weekend Crush

I’ve had this photo of Carole Lombard sitting in my archives for what seems like ages. And each time I stumble across it again, usually while searching for some other photo, I have to stop. In one photo, it’s everything that Hollywood should be. Beautiful. Glamorous. Seductive. It’s perfect. Carole Lombard is perfect. I can’t stop staring at it. I never want to stop staring at it. It mesmerizes me anew each time. In fact, I’ve been a little selfish keeping it to myself all this time. It’s so perfect, I almost don’t want to share it. Like when you caught your first summer firefly, but then didn’t want to share it with anyone because the light was so pretty in your hand. That’s how this photo makes me feel.

As one of the biggest stars of the 1930s, Carole earned more than five times the President of the United States in her heyday. Her gift for comedy and flare for life were legendary. She had that almost impossible combination of humor and elegance. It earned her an Oscar nomination for 1936’s “My Man Godfrey.” She had a string of famous fellas after her, and married William Powell and Clark Gable. Not bad for an Indiana gal. But her life was cut tragically short at age 33 when after returning home to Indiana for a war bonds rally at the start of WWII, her plane home crashed killing her, her mother and 15 soldiers. So just like the photo, Carole remains frozen in time. Forever beautiful. Forever glamorous. Forever seductive. And always able to make us stop in our tracks and say, my God, she’s gorgeous.
